Cumbian Galoppen 2025 – good news for Very Short Green People
From 2025, following a suggestion from BL, Very Short Green (VSG) courses will be included in the Cumbrian Galoppen. This means that VSG will have the same status as all the other courses, with league tables compiled and series winners announced. BL at CompassSport Final
A compact but competitive Border Liners team attended the final of the CompassSport Trophy inter-club competition near Kincardine Bridge, Scotland at the weekend, having made selection for the final at a regional qualification event earlier in March. New British Champion
Border Liners’ Carol Edwards secured a convincing victory in the British Sprint Orienteering Championships last weekend in Leeds, winning W65 by over 2 minutes. Victory was assured by covering the 2.6km course with 15 check points around a tricky University of Leeds Campus in the time of 14:35.

Lakes 5 Days – first fee date
Entry fees for the Lakes 5 Days in August go up on 1st May. It will be a great week of orienteering and you can do all 5 days or as few as you like. BL are putting on the first day which is Saturday 7th August. Full details on the Lakes 5 Day website.
