Border Liners offer opportunities to go orienteering anytime that is convenient to you with a mix of Permanent and Virtual courses. Running or walking you can tackle a course or simply explore with a map.
Permanent Orienteering Courses (POCs) have marker posts out in the area which you navigate to and which confirm you are in the correct location. Border Liners currently have 3 permanent courses in operation. Visit our POC webpage for further information on this and the courses available.
Virtual Orienteering Courses (VOCs) have nothing physical or visible at control point locations but your smart phone beeps when you are the correct location using an orienteering specific application installed on your phone. The app uses GPS positioning to confirm where you are at all times in relation to the orienteering map. Visit our VOC webpage for more information and to get started.
