Indoor insanity?

The OO Cup kicked off in Killarney with a warm-up indoor event at St Brendan’s College. As we were staying in Killarney for the OO Cup week Christine and I thought we would give this a go. Billed as the Kerry Festival of Orienteering the event saw over 400 take part in an indoor/outdoor multi-level event with numerous artificial barriers, one way entrances/exits and alphabetically labelled stairwells, some of which were also one way up or down. ABC, Easy as 1-2-3

The Allerdale Bike Challenge is an annual series of five cycle events which explore the local lanes around Allerdale District. It’s open to riders of all bike types from lightweight road bikes to mountain bikes, from recumbent bikes to tandems. The format is a 2 hour score event using SportIdent timing on tarmac roads & lanes, with a maximum of 25 controls available to collect but with penalties for late return; get the timing very wrong and you can lose all your points!
