Talkin Tarn event – 5th March

Talkin Tarn final event details are now available here. We’re afraid to say that the coaching that was due to take place before the event has had to be cancelled. The event is still going ahead (starts from 11:00 to 12:15) and entries are open until Thursday on SiEntries.

There will be 3 orienteering courses: Green (approx 4.5km), Short Green (3.5km) and Yellow (2.1km), with start times between 11:00 and 12:15. Pre-entry is preferred for all courses. There will be entries available on the yellow course on the morning but not Green or Short Green.

After the formal orienteering event, between 13:30 and 15:30 there will be an opportunity to find out about the permanent orienteering course at Talkin Tarn and try it free of charge. The course is available all year round and explores all corners of the Country Park. Come along in the afternoon if you would like to find out more about the sport of orienteering without participating in a formal event.
