Miltonrigg Wood is located 3km east of Brampton on the A69. Parking will be in the small public car park at the NE corner of the wood, and on the adjacent roadside

Terrain
Relatively flat woodland with plenty of paths. Runnability is good at this time of year with little to impede progress. Both planner and mapper report the woodland as looking lovely.

Yellow (1.8km)
Very Short Green (1.5 km) ** (see note below)
Short Green (2.9 km)
Green (4.7 km) ++ (see note below)

Yellow is suitable for beginners and children. The other courses are suitable for more experienced orienteers (or less experienced ones who want a challenge!

Notes:
** Very Short Green – this is the same course as Short Green but with some controls missed out. If you want to do Very Short Green pick up a Short Green map at the start. The map will show which controls to miss. You can decide while on the course whether to take the Very Short Green cut-off.
++ Green has a double sided map

Start and Finish
Start is 300m from the public car park. Finish is 150m away.
