Planner’s Notes
Towers: These are not free standing structures, but comprise an approx 4m metal ladder with a chair on top supported against a tree.
Undergrowth: There is no runnability screen, but in general the going is “medium run” in the white areas at this time of year.
Green Splodges and Lines: Small green areas on the map can be any of the following

Note that there are small unmapped fallen trees / areas of windblown which can easily be avoided.

Control Descriptions
Control Descriptions will be printed on the front of the map. Loose descriptions will NOT be available.

Railway Crossing
The Green, Short Green and Very Short Green courses cross a railway between controls 4 and 5. The crossing will be manned and you must only cross when directed by the marshal. The time taken between these two controls will not count to your overall time.

Safety
Full leg cover and whistles are compulsory. There will be a first aid kit at registration. Competitors with an existing medical condition are invited to leave details in a sealed envelope at registration.
