Terrain
Coombs Wood is a small area of working forest on the NE side of the River Eden. It comprises a steep valley side, with flat areas at the top and bottom. There are many paths and tracks, including a lot of steep mountain bike tracks. The forest is mostly fairly rough underfoot with dead bracken and some brambles, but there are more runnable parts. The Short Green course is planned to use these as much as possible and will also use more paths than usual.

Toilets
There will be a Portaloo at Enquiries/Download

Dogs
There are no restrictions other than common sense.

Coaching
A coaching session is available before the event, starting at around 10:00. Please tick the box on the entry form if you would like to attend. There is no charge.
