Border Liners (BL) are a small, friendly orienteering club based in North East Cumbria including Penrith, Carlisle, Alston, Caldbeck, Shap and the surrounding areas.
The club generally puts on an event every month and holds training sessions too. You don’t need to be a member to come to events, and there are courses to suit all abilities and ages. Beginners are always welcome and there will be someone willing to help when you come along to your first event.
BL members also go to events organised by other local clubs and if you are keen you can orienteer almost every week somewhere in Cumbria. Members also attend events further afield both in this country and abroad.
The club is affiliated to the North West Orienteering Association (NWOA) and to British Orienteering (BO}, the national governing body for the sport.
