British Orienteering Public Liability Insurance

From January 2026 non-members will NOT be covered by British Orienteering Third Party Liability insurance at any event. This means that they take part at their own risk. For example, if a non-member were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event, they would not be covered.
Also, non-members are ONLY covered for the first three activities they attend. For this Third Party Liability Insurance indemnity to apply it is essential that Border Liners record your name and address (house number and/or name and postcode) when you participate in these three activities. Information retained is held in accordance with our data privacy policy.
