BL winners at Northern Night Champs

The Northern Night Champs took place at Wilton Woods near Guisborough on Saturday 24^th January. The area consists largely of a very steep (think 1:3) wooded slope with many pits and reentrants, and from all accounts, a thick coating of mud and brambles; not to everyone’s taste, but a good challenge producing worthy winners.

Two BL members were crowned champion: Keith in Men Ultra Veteran (65+) and Julie in Women Super Veteran (W55+). Congratulations to both.

For anyone who wanted more, there was an event the next day on the same area (with a slightly less steep additional section). Julie and John both ran, finishing mid-table on Blue.
