Did you know that British Orienteering hold frequent webinars on a wide variety of subjects? They are free and open to all BO members. Some are quite specialised (“The BO Insurance Policy” won’t be for everyone!) but others are of general interest (“Back to basics: Putting the ‘thinking’ component back into orienteering” was a good one last year)
A new series begins this week (9th Jan) with “What it takes to be an elite orienteer” – even if your sights are set somewhat lower it should be interesting to see the sport from another point of view. Other forthcoming sessions cover using social media to market orienteering and “how to increase your outreach in your local community and make activities easy to understand and attend for newcomers”.
