Weather – it looks a bit more unsettled for Saturday but not too bad, some rain forecast. Be prepared for light rain and colder conditions on the higher terrain, but cagoules not compulsory.

Parking
Field at Calebreck CA7 8JR 2km South from Hesket Newmarket, 7km North from the A66 Mungrisdale Junction. The carpark will be signed from both directions, please do not park on the fell or verges. Matting will be down to allow access in wet. £2 car parking fee. There is strictly NO PARKING on fell verges. Please use the car park field. Suitable for all vehicles.

*If you want to run Very Short Green, enter Short Green. On the day, there is a loop on the Short Green course which can be omitted (marked on the map) and download will automatically adjust your result to the Very Short Green course.
Details of courses
The start and finish boxes need to be punched, but all other boxes will be SIAC enabled.
Dibber Hire
If you pre-ordered a dibber, collect it from Download on the day.
Also available if you are entering on the day (Yellow, Orange and Red courses only). There is no hire charge but £30 charge if not returned.
Cost
Entry on the day: £8 adult, £3 junior
Start
Between 11:00 and 12:30. The start is located 1.3km and 60m climb from registration/download. The walk route will be flagged to the start to avoid the road. Allow 20 mins. Courses close at 14:00.
Finish
The finish is located 200m from registration/download and the walk back will be taped. The download is at Calebreck Farm CA7 8JR. There will be outdoor tables in the courtyard and garden at the Download location for lunch and for socialising. Tea and coffee available. Bring your lunch and stay for some tea and socialising.
Facilities
Toilets in parking field. Well behaved dogs on leads are allowed in the car parking field, but no dogs allowed on the course. £2 car parking fee applies. Lift share if possible.
Terrain
Fast open fell, characterised by complex contour details. Steep in places but some rocks under grassy terrain. There are old mining areas that are fenced and should be avoided.
Safety
Whistles are compulsory. Cagoules may be compulsory subject to weather conditions.
Entry Cancellation / Changes
If you are unable to make the event please let us know via the email address. If we are informed by the closing date we will provide a refund less £1 per person to cover admin costs. Before the closing date you can change your course by editing your entry online, but there will be no changes of course on the day.
