The final of the annual inter-club competition took place at Holcombe Moor near Bolton on Sunday (20th Oct) in what must have been very wet and windy conditions. (Perhaps failing to qualify wasn’t such a bad thing after all!) Congratulations to the winners SYO (large clubs competition) and SROC (small clubs competition). Results and Routegadget are on the PFO website. BL had some involvement in the event with Andy Lewsley being the controller.
Looking ahead to next year’s competition, the good news from a BL perspective is that because SROC won this year’s final, we don’t need to beat them in the North West heat in order to qualify for the final. The heat is on February 23rd, near Burnley and the final, if we make it, is relatively easy to get to as it’s near Middlesbrough
